The Ross Foundation

The Ross Foundation has received $295,000.00 to provide alternative mental health therapies and educate the community on restorative justice.

Founded in 2014, The Ross Foundation is a grassroots organization located on the Far Eastside of Marion County. The Ross Foundation mission is: “to address racial inequities through advocacy and by removing barriers to resources, services, and wellness programs.”

With Vitality Funding, The Ross Foundation plans to provide access to affordable mental health services to fill the gap of culturally responsive health care providers for Black youth and adults on the Far Eastside; to provide alternative therapies such as healing circles, art therapy, music therapy, and reading therapy to serve as a complement or in place of traditional therapy; and to introduce restorative justice to the community.
