Welcome to the MHA Indy Hub!
The Mental Health America of Indianapolis (MHA Indy) Hub, operating within Mental Health America of Indiana, is a community-based, peer-led initiative focused on recovery support, prevention services, and meaningful connection. The Hub offers a structured and welcoming space for individuals in all stages of behavioral health recovery, those considering recovery, and community members seeking information or resources.
Open Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., our Drop-In Center provides consistent access to Peer Recovery Coaches who offer one-on-one support, personalized guidance in navigating community resources and systems of care, goal setting, coping skill development, and self-advocacy support. Throughout the rest of the workweek, the MHA Indy team is active in the communityโmeeting individuals for support, facilitating groups, and delivering services at partner organizationsโensuring recovery support is accessible beyond the Hubโs physical space.
Contact our Director to learn more about bringing our peer support services to your location.

MHA Indy Drop-In Center
The MHA Indy Drop-In Center is a safe, non-judgmental environment open to all ages and all pathways to recovery, grounded in the understanding that recovery is not linear and looks different for each individual. While recovery has historically been associated primarily with substance use, our team has experience supporting a wide range of behavioral health challenges. We are committed to meeting people where they areโexploring what support looks like for each individual and walking alongside them throughout their journey.
Peer support extends beyond symptom management to include navigating resources for housing stability, employment readiness, rebuilding relationships, obtaining identification documents, and improving overall wellness. In addition to one-on-one peer services, the Hub provides direct material and prevention support, including a community closet with clothing for all genders and sizes, hygiene items, naloxone and fentanyl test strips, and bus passes to help reduce transportation barriers and increase access to essential services.
