
Each year, Mental Health America of Indiana touches the lives of thousands of people through its outreach and education activities. Unfortunately, too many people do not reach out anywhere for help. If you are a person who wants to reach out for help but you don’t know where to start, contact our office at (317) 638-3501, ext. 239.
Mental Health America of Indiana provides outreach and education services to people with mental illness, people in recovery, family members, policy makers, elected officials, people in the press and other interested people.
FriendTalk is geared toward people aged 18 to 25 years old. You can find us on facebook at FriendTalk. Information is provided in a peer format so that people can learn more about mental health and understand “What a Difference a Friend Makes” in the life of a person with mental illness and addiction issues.
This program provides information to people who are in the National Guard by placing brochures about mental health topics at the National Guard Armories throughout Indiana. National Guard members can contact our office at (317) 638-3501, extension 239 to find out about services in there area or to ask questions regarding mental health.
Mental Health America of Indiana participates in community events and information fairs including employment fairs so that people can learn more about mental health and addiction topics.
